Here is my first blog.
I am so passionate about spreading my love of healthy lifestyle and want to try to motivate others to do the same. "Healthy Lifestyle" is not something that just happens, we have to work for it. We have to make it a part of our every day living.
I am here to share my personal experiences and thoughts that has helped so many of my friends and myself to get healthy and start a new journey in life.
What comes to your mind when you hear the word - FIT? I bet you imagine a person who has this perfect, very well toned body! A Beach Body! A six pack may be! To me that is a facade. Fit is a feeling! You do not have to be slim to be fit. A person can be slim and not healthy! A person who is not slim can be perfectly healthy! We just assume!
Being fit comes from within. Train your mind to do these - listen to your body, love your body, celebrate your body. Once you pay attention to your body we will see the change happening. It is all in the Brain!
I realized that the two most important way we can do this is by Exercising and Eating right. We come up with excuses as to why we do not exercise or why we ate food loaded with sugar and carbs! Remember next time you do this - you are abusing your body and not paying attention to it. When we keep these two as our priority, everyday regime, it becomes part of our lifestyle. Push yourself to do it for two weeks it becomes a habit, and four weeks - you will notice a change in your attitude, your body, your mood, your mind, your confidence, your energy. You get the feeling that you are FIT.
We don't exercise and eat right to get that perfect body! we do this to be healthy!
I Cringe when someone says -"exercise because summer is coming and you need to wear the bathing suit"! Do the arm curls because you can have perfect arms."
NO- we exercise because that is the right thing to do! I feel awesome when I am done with my exercise. Yes I push myself some days to do it, but the after effect of a workout is priceless.
I eat right - because I love my body very much. I want to take care of it. I am conscious of what I eat because I control my food intake. I think before I put food in my mouth. I celebrate the moment, I enjoy every bite. I listen, I celebrate, and I love my body.
Don't try to be fit to lose pounds, or dress size. Get Fit so your outside can match your inside. Feel it.
