The Truth – Diet vs Eating

Did you all know that to live a healthy life we really got to eat! We think by depriving our body of food we get healthy, lose that weight, clothes will fit well, we lose our body fat, we get more energy. All that is rubbish!

Eat – that is the only way you can achieve everything said above. Dieting – by which I mean starving yourself, depriving your body of the food it really needs will not help your body to stay healthy. You will lose those pounds when you diet for sure! You will not be able to sustain that forever. When you slack, you will put back everything you lost, and it becomes a vicious cycle. This is called Yo-Yo dieting. So, eat. Never let yourself go hungry. Do not starve!
Our body needs all the nutrients. It needs the Macros. When you deprive your body of them, it protects itself by storing all the nutrients in the form of fat, to use when it does not get enough. It is like a camel. Camel stores water in its humps to use it at a later time, and that is exactly what our body does – it stores fat.
Eventually, it will start taking it from our muscles and we end up with diseases, and we wonder how that happened? When you go on diets you actually abuse your body. So, eat.
Eating does not mean mindless eating, eating junk. Connect with your food, pick the right food, right portions, be mindful with what you are going to eat. Do you have enough nutrients? Do you think your body is going to be happy with what you are feeding it? You control what you eat.
When you feed your body the right nutrients, the right amount – your body is in a happy place and it finds no purpose to store that nutrients, it uses them as energy. It knows you are taking good care of it! You don’t need to eat less… you just need to eat right!
That is when you see the magic happen! Your body gets healthy, your muscles get strong, you lose body fat, your clothes fit better, your skin looks better, your sleep improves, your weighing scale moves, your energy gets better, your confidence goes up.
Most of us turn to food when we are bored, when we are stressed. We seek solace in food. We use food as a reward sometimes! We are not dogs to use food as a reward. When you pick on the wrong food your craving gets more, and you eat more. So next time when you eat food remember you are going to be picking the right food to celebrate your body, love your body.

1.Eat clean – eat real, whole foods, Choose your nutrients well, Buy chemical-free foods,Cook more
2. Re-name foods – Forward Food or Backward food.
Forward food – is this food helping you move forward to better health and improved energy.
Backward food – Is this food going to make you feel unhealthy with a spike-and-crash depleted feeling.
3. Eat well, move daily, Hydrate often, sleep lots – love your body.
